I'm a hard-working, passionate and committed journalist who's motivated by innovation and going the extra mile.

Originally from Manchester, I'm now based in South London; from where it's relatively easy to get to various places for work.

One of my main passions is music - I sing in my spare time, and enjoy indie and soul music, going to gigs when I can.

I also enjoy film, reading, writing and watching football (an avid Man United fan from my younger days regularly frequenting Old Trafford)

I love travel and returned from a year's trip around the world in 2006 - since then I particularly enjoy trips overseas. I also regularly go to Ireland to visit friends, and up to Manchester to see family when I can.

I'm an open-minded and mature individual, and I enjoy what I do a great deal, bringing what I believe is something fresh and different to every story I work on.
